Emails by fraudsters, representing as authorized officers or members for HVB, proposing to release supposed unclaimed funds have been in circulation lately. If responded, the fraudsters will affirm that such funds will be released upon successful receipt of a “fee payment” (be it administrative fee, deposit or otherwise). Be warned that these emails are not issued by HVB or its employees.
We wish to inform the public that HVB will never deal, transact and/or attempt to transact in any suspicious, illegal and/or fraudulent transactions. You should report such emails to HVB and discard them. You should not act on the contents of these forged emails and not to forward such emails to any third parties.
